Sleeping Arrangements
This studio apartment features one queen bed & a convertible sleeper sofa (queen).

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pants, utensils, silverware, plates, bowls, cups, knives, a cutting board, salt and pepper, a coffee maker, and cream and sugar – for however you take it.

Cleaning Supplies
You’re supplied with dish soap, a sponge, dish detergent and paper towels.

Washer/Dryer
There is a washer/dryer in unit. We provide you with detergent for your stay!

TV
The Roku guide is posted next to the TV. There is also a digital antenna for local channels. Please remember to sign out of any of any Roku apps you’ve utilize during
your stay.

Non-Smoking
The home and entire building is designated as a smoke-free community. There will be a $500 fee imposed if you choose to smoke in unit or the building. Please respect our policy and step outside.

Parking
There is no dedicated parking space for the home. We recommend using apps like SpotHero to locate discounted street or garage spots nearby.

Guest access

The entire home is yours to enjoy for the duration of your stay.

We are off-site but available when needed. The best way to reach us is by emailing [email protected]! In case of maintenance emergency, the in-unit home guide will detail phone numbers of who to call immediately.

Luggage Hold
If your travel arrangements have you arriving earlier or leaving later than our designated check in / check out times, we recommend using Wait Here Chicago. We have a partnership with them and can offer you discounted rates on their luggage hold options throughout the city.

Pets
There is a $25/pet per booking fee. We know that all dogs are good dogs but the building's breed restrictions are listed below. There are no weight restrictions, but if your buddy falls under one of these categories unfortunately we wouldn't be able to host them.

Pit Bull, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Shaffordshire Bull Terrier, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow, Akita, Presa Canario and /or Wolf Hybrids.

While we trust that your pet plays well with others, we know that accidents happen. In the event of an issue involving your pet, you will be required to provide up to date vaccination records and will be fully liable for any medical, veterinary, or property damages incurred.

-If you accidentally damage anything during your stay, please contact the host for your safety and the future safety of the next guest.
-We pride ourselves on being green and would appreciate you turning off the TV and lights when you check-out.
-Please remember to sign out of any ROKU apps you utilized via your personal accounts before departing.

Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are between 10p-8a.
This is a residential building and ask that for the respect of permanent tenants basic courtesies of being mindful of your noise levels and not congregating in hallways outside of the unit be observed.

Receiving a noise complaint from the building or the device can result in the forfeiture of your stay and a $1000 fine.

No Smoking
The home (and entire building) is designated as a strictly smoke-free community. There will be a $500 fee imposed if you choose to smoke in the building. Please respect our policy and step outside.

Keys
If you happen to lose your key, you will be charged $75.

Emergencies
Contact your host immediately with any issues. An emergency maintenance number is provided in the home guide for any building issues that involve water or hazards in the home.

Very modern, spacious and with great amenities for the kitchen and bathroom. The view from the second floor was great. It's not as insolated for noise so you will hear dogs barking, TV and people talking outside or other noises adults make. I knew that based on previous reviews. Nice place for laptop time and relaxing. Close to grocery store and Asian restaurants.

Prairie Smoke was an excellent stay! It was incredibly stylish, clean, and perfect for our long weekend stay! Our hosts provided amazing recommendations for local food and entertainment, and were so sweet and quick with communication. A perfect location in Andersonville close to Aragon Ballroom and local eateries.

This place is such a great Airbnb. Stocked with everything you would need. It's a studio apartment type space and feels like staying in your own little urban apartment. It's very modern and cozy. The location is also excellent. You just have to be a little street smart (as with any city environment), but overall such a great experience staying here.

The Apartment was perfect. Check in was a breeze. There were some good Vietnamese restaurants close by. Everything was so clean and trendy. I loved the big window in the living room. Close to the parks. Definitely will stay again on my next trip to Chicago!!!

This was a great home base for our trip to Chicago. The unit is small but stylish, and the location is fantastic - easy access to transit and the Loop but still far enough from the touristy areas for us to get a sense of the “true Chicago.” The in-unit washer/dryer was a godsend after a week of other travel, and the building itself is a great architectural icon. The check-in/out process was smooth and easy. We would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is clean, with beautiful natural light, and close to the red line. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend.

This is a nice clean small unit in a converted synagogue with high ceilings, great shower, good working kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a washer and dryer. It feels more like an executive hotel room than an apartment. It’s a quick walk to the lakefront, the Argyle red line stop, and right across the alley from Big Chicks and Tweet. It’s 15-20 minute walk to Andersonville. While I would stay again in a heartbeat, I should note that the second floor hallway is an echo chamber: you hear everyone coming and going and talking. Also, one day when I was done showering and still naked, a guy I think/hope was a maintenance person tried to enter the unit, and even opened the door, without knocking. I had to run to the door shouting “I’m naked, wait” which wasn’t fun. While the people who work for Livly Short Stay, the company that manages this AirBnB unit, replied quickly about this and suggested it was a mistake on the part of the building, that they don’t have control over building management, and that they would try to contact maintenance. They never said “we’re so sorry that happened; it won’t happen again,” which is kind of what one wants to hear after that, and they never confirmed that it was maintenance. Entry and exit is by a fob you get from a lockbox, which made checkin and checkout easy. There’s a spare fob that stays in the lockbox throughout your stay.

This listing offers a great Uptown location, a stone throat from the Vietnamese village and its restaurants (try the Pho 777), the red line EL and 10 min walk to the world famous Green Milll jazz club (with slam poetry on Sunday evenings). The unit is located in a former synagogue with beautiful north facing windows. Clean and well equipped. The recently painted white walls could use a little human touch. A great relaxing place to explore the loop and several neighbourhoods.

The kitchen is amazing. The bed is plush (those photos don’t do it justice) it’s overall a really beautiful space with great amenities and two large smart TVs, washer dryer, WiFi, dish washer, everything. One thing I will say though is that this area is not the safest. A block away there is a building with lots of activity and so you will see police always sitting on the corner and they even pulled over my Lyft driver in front of the Airbnb building and detained him after I got out. If you intend to find a very safe place with lots going on in the area and safe to walk around at night alone or even parking your car with SpotAngels or ParkWhiz I don’t know if I fully would recommend this spot. Yet the apartment has various locks and gates and you will feel extremely safe inside, just something to be weary of.

Legit, best Airbnb. The concept of former synagogue to apartments and Airbnb’s (there are both in the building), is so cool! The studio was a great layout, high ceilings, gorgeous kitchen and bathroom. I can’t say enough about this place. They provided toilet paper, in unit washer and dryer, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner. Full sized fridge. Stove. Dishwasher. Pets are welcome so bringing my two cats was essential. Bed was queen sized and comfy!!!
