Welcome to LOUIS LOUNGE in the historic Uptown neighborhood, less than four blocks from the lake in a full amenities building! Whether you're looking for a night in with your sweetheart, or a night out with your friends– Uptown has historic architecture, music, nightlife, and unique multi-cultural cuisine to enjoy! After a day out exploring, head back to the home and visit the boxing gym, indoor pool, and full bar, right inside the building! Business or pleasure, you've found the perfect spot!

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pants, utensils, silverware, plates, bowls, cups, knives, a cutting board, salt and pepper, a coffee maker, and cream and sugar – for however you take it.

Cleaning Supplies
You’re supplied with dish soap, a sponge, dish detergent and paper towels.

Washer/Dryer
There is a washer/dryer in unit. We provide you with detergent for your stay!

TV
The Roku guide is posted next to the TV. There is also a digital antenna for local channels. Please remember to sign out of any of any Roku apps you’ve utilize during
your stay.

Non-Smoking
The home and entire building is designated as a smoke-free community. There will be a $500 fee imposed if you choose to smoke in unit or the building. Please respect our policy and step outside.

Deck
Relax on your private deck and take in amazing city views!

Parking
There is no dedicated parking space for the home. We recommend using apps like SpotHero to locate discounted street or garage spots nearby.

Guest access

You will have access to all of the building's beautiful and unique amenities. All of which include a gorgeous gym, stunning pool, and beautiful outdoor area with fire pit.

Interaction with guests

We are off-site but available when needed. The best way to reach us is by emailing [email protected]! In case of maintenance emergency, the in-unit home guide will detail phone numbers of who to call immediately.

Luggage Hold
If your travel arrangements have you arriving earlier or leaving later than our designated check in / check out times, we recommend using Wait Here Chicago. We have a partnership with them and can offer you discounted rates on their luggage hold options throughout the city.

Pets
There is a $25/pet per booking fee.

We know that all dogs are good dogs but the building's breed restrictions are listed below. There are no weight restrictions, but if your buddy falls under one of these categories unfortunately we wouldn't be able to host them: Pit Bull, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Shaffordshire Bull Terrier, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow, Akita, Presa Canario and /or Wolf Hybrids.

While we trust that your pet plays well with others, we know that accidents happen. In the event of an issue involving your pet, you will be required to provide up to date vaccination records and will be fully liable for any medical, veterinary, or property damages incurred.

General Rules
-Absolutely no smoking is permitted anywhere inside the home or any outdoor areas. There will be a $500 fee imposed if we receive a complaint or find evidence of smoking in the home.
-Please treat the home as if it is your own.
-Please respect our guest limit capacity of 8 people.
-Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property.
-If you accidentally damage anything during your stay, please contact the host for your safety and the future safety of the next guest.
-We pride ourselves on being green and would appreciate you turning off the TV and lights when you check-out.
-Please remember to sign out of any ROKU apps you utilized via your personal accounts before departing.

Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are between 10p-8a.
This is a residential building and ask that for the respect of permanent tenants basic courtesies of being mindful of your noise levels and not congregating in hallways outside of the unit be observed.

Please be advised that this home is equipped with NoiseAware. NoiseAware works like a smoke detector, but for noise. The sensor tracks the decibel levels in this home, evaluates other risk factors and will send an alert if there are excess noise levels detected. Please do not unplug the device.

Receiving a noise complaint from the building or the device can result in the forfeiture of your stay and a $1000 fine.

No Smoking
The home (and entire building including outdoor common areas) is designated as a strictly smoke-free community. There will be a $500 fee imposed if you choose to smoke in the building. Please respect our policy and step outside the vicinity.

Key Card
A key card is your way of accessing everything from your short-stay apartment to the amenity spaces in the building. If you happen to lose your card, you will be charged $75 for a replacement.

Security
Please be advised that the building exterior and common spaces are equipped with surveillance devices. Please respect the building and its community.

Emergencies
Contact your host immediately with any issues. An emergency maintenance number is provided in the home guide for any building issues that involve water or hazards in the home.

This stay has a great view, is convenient with spacing, has nice amenities, and is a perfect local getaway. Although there is no parking on the premises, this stay has convenient travel to get to and from the apartment. This stay was completely worth it and I highly recommend if you're looking for local, but still somewhere to have fun! My friends and I enjoyed this!

The place is very beautiful, two full bathrooms , 3 spacious bedrooms. Walls are thin so you can hear what’s going on in the hallways . Besides that it’s very clean and you will truly get your money’s worth. The view from the balcony is beautiful.

The space is very clean, the beds are cozy, and the building has lots of amenities including a coffee shop and bar in the lobby. There are significant stairs down to the two bedrooms but we were very happy with our stay overall. I would recommend this place.

Great place! We stayed here with our teens, and it was perfect, and was conveniently located for the L train and getting around. The teens had their own space downstairs, had a gorgeous rooftop lounge, awesome pool and gym, and the apartment was spacious, clean, and had a modern feel. The private rooftop deck was a bonus, with a wonderful view.

The place is very cool, it has a great view and its very comfortable to fit lots of people. It would've been a perfect review if not for the fact that when we arrived, it was still dirty. There were dirty dishes in the kitchen and the bedroom still had dirty sheets. With a late entry time like 4pm I expected different. It was not a great experience to have to leave the place for the cleaning crew to come it. Other than that, location is perfect, close to the train station. Parking can be found and the area had several options for food.

Great place and awesome neighborhood. Really close to the lake and parks. Beautiful lounges and versatile gym. Absolutely terrible WiFi! If you need to get things done, you need to go to the lobby. We had a few issues with the power and ac unit. All in all, you can get better value elsewhere.

This is a great choice! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and we were very comfortable. The apartment is decorated modern and classy and extremely clean. Note that there in one bedroom and bath on the main floor with kitchen and sitting area, then the other two bedrooms and bathroom is downstairs. Worked out perfect for our family. It is recommended to use the SpotHero app for parking but we were about to find street parking for free in the evenings. Bring your own beach towels for swimming, there are only bath towels in the apartment. (Washer and dryer was an awesome luxury to have too) I highly recommend staying here. It’s a clean, spacious apartment with an awesome Chicago view. Location was great too! Hosts are very kind and communication was excellent.

We had a great stay and loved the place. The outdoor living space off the main area is a great bonus and we had access to the outdoor rooftop lounges as well. All of the beds were super comfortable and the decor is taseful/stylish. I would love to come back. We found street parking most days without a problem. The cafes and bars in the lobby are a nice convenience. It was like staying at a stylish hotel, but with so much more space. I highly recommend!

Our stay at the Louis Lounge - Uptown was everything and anything we could have ever imagined. It by far exceeded out expectations. The place was spectacular! Very spacious for the 6 of us who stayed. The place was beautifully decorated and very clean! We would all stay again in a heart beat!
